SOME is a short film that explores the spectrum of emotions in everyday life. It is based on a poem and inspired by the work of Ettore Sottsass, who was an Italian architect and designer in the 20th century. Ettore designed buildings, furniture, jewellery, glass, lighting, as well as home and office objects.
This was one of my favorite projects because we focused on thoughtful, minimal, selective, and conceptual design, animation, and sound and music.
This is the kind of project I get really excited about working on. I enjoy telling a story that relates to human emotions, and love being able to be selective with how I animate the visual elements. Every moment of the animation and each piece of sound and music are stirring together until we get to the sweet spot of communicating the message.
